An intervention that aims to install a garden inside the concrete canal of a river in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Titled Under-Arrudas, it will be a way of inviting people to go down inside the river channel. Merging an experience of the current disgusting condition of the river with the installation of a hanging garden of weeds, visitors would stroll between extremes: sewage and garden overlapped in the same place; the grey river below and a sea of grasses topside. Under-Arrudas square will be open to occupations where visitors will watch concerts, movies, plays; or simply experience this river as never before.
